Albuterol Sulfate

Albuterol Sulfate is a beta-2 adrenergic agnonist and is a popular thermogenic like Clenbuterol among performance athletes; however, it is perhaps most well-known for its ability to treat asthma. Brought to the U.S. market in 1980 under the trade name Ventolin, Albuterol is currently available under seemingly countless brand names across the globe. In fact, there are numerous FDA approved labels in the U.S. alone. Albuterol is commonly available in an inhaler, but oral tablets can also be found. Syrups are also available, and the popularity of the liquid form is increasing due to research chemical labs. The tablet or liquid versions will normally best suite fat burning goals, while the inhaler is far more apt for treating asthma in most conditions.

Albuterol 101:

Albuterol belongs to a class of drugs officially known as sympathomimetics. By design, related medications work on the sympathic nervous system and are largely controlled by the adrenoceptors. A bronchodilator, Albuterol functions by opening the airways to the lungs by relaxing the air passage making breathing easier. Carrying an extremely short half-life of only about four hours, Albuterol must be taken numerous times a day for the full effects to be obtained. Normally 3-4 doses per day are sufficient.

Beyond its strong effects surrounding the airways, Albuterol is also a fantastic metabolic stimulator. By stimulating the beta-2 receptors, Albuterol causes the bodyís core temperature to increase. This increase is slight, but it only takes a slight increase to stimulate the metabolism. This is largely accomplished by the beta-2 stimulation causing the mitochondria of the cells to produce and release more heat.

The Side Effects of Albuterol:

Albuterol Sulfate is extremely mild in an overall sense when it comes to side effects. Those who use this bronchodilator for breathing purposes will rarely have issues, but those who use it for its thermongenic properties will find the probability increases slightly. The possible side effects of Albuterol do not change due to the purpose of use, but it normally takes a larger dose to benefit from its potential fat burning effects. The most common of such related side effects is shaking. This should come as no surprise as Albuterol is a stimulant. Insomnia, headaches and dizziness may also occur, but most will find they adapt to these effects as their body becomes accustomed to the medication.

The side effects of Albuterol can also include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea; however, such effects are rare. There are also far more serious side effects of Albuterol use, and while they are extremely rare, they can be problematic. Some individuals may experience an allergic reaction to this medication that causes swelling of the lips, tongue or face. Rashes, high blood pressure and chest pains are also possible, and oddly enough difficulty breathing despite its primary purpose being improved breathing. Those who suffer from the serious side effects of Albuterol will need to find another medication to meet their needs.

The Benefits of Albuterol:

From a direct therapeutic sense, the benefits of Albuterol are as straightforward as they can be. The individual is havening difficulty breathing due to an asthmatic reaction, or in some cases chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and through the use of Albuterol breathing is improved. It really doesnít get any simpler than that. Then thereís fat loss, and while it can certainly help with this process, itís not as cut and dry as improving a breathing disorder.

Albuterol can stimulate the metabolism, but it wonít burn body fat directly. Albuterol does not attack the fat cells. This isnít a substance like 2,4 Dinotrophenol (DNP). By increasing the metabolic rate, this helps us burn more calories, but we must be in a caloric deficit if body fat is to be lost. If youíre using Albuterol and consuming more calories than you burn or even at a maintenance level, you wonít burn any body fat. If you take your calorie consumption down, and adding Albuterol will ensure you burn more, youíll lose fat. Like Clenbuterol, this can be an excellent tool to help you lose stubborn body fat areas towards the end of a diet. This is not a thermogenic tool that is going to make an obese individual lean, but it can be very useful for physique enhancement based fat loss.
